About

So, who is rosieroundtheworld? I’m Rosie and like many bloggers, I have been irrevocably possessed by the travel bug: a persistent obsession with floating from country to country, riding the high that comes with travel.

By day, i’m a content writer for an Australian motorhome rental company. This means that I spend my days wistfully writing travel itineraries and trying to encourage the general population to get out there and explore the Land Down Under. I myself have explored 33 countries (including Australia) and each and every travel moment has taught me something unique.

What do I want from life? To write and to love. I studied an Arts Degree at the University of Tasmania and followed it up with a healthy dose of journalism. It is my goal in life to travel as much as possible, love as often as possible and be as happy as I can, living life to the fullest.

I am happy to offer my travel suggestions to everyone and anyone who wants to know and so far I have encountered the following countries: Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, People’s Republic of China, Germany, Ecuador, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Cambodia, Lithuania, Latvia, Macao, Mexico, Malaysia, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Uruguay, Vatican, Vietnam and Vanuatu.

My life goal is to live and work overseas and really absorb myself in another country. I speak intermediate German (thanks to my school and university study) and fluent English.

I hope you enjoy reading my travel blog as much as I enjoy writing it. If you like a post, please let me know!
